2019 "Shop with a Cop" Christmas Program

Last year, the North Fayette Police Department launched the inaugural “Shop With a Cop” program, following the lead of retired Findlay Township Police and School Resource Officer Jeff O’Donnell. It was a huge success that we are looking to build on. Our department strives to have a positive impact on the youth of this great community while enriching the lives of those who volunteer for this program. We are only able to do so through the collaborative efforts of you and the dedicated and compassionate officers of the North Fayette Police Department.

This program would not have been possible without the generosity of our many donors. When asked, they did not think twice about giving generously to our children, and the response was overwhelming. We raised enough money to take care of numerous children from the community and hope to reach more in the coming years. In the weeks following the event, our officers were routinely overheard saying that the program was a career highlight.

As much of a success as the 2018 campaign was, we now have the task of replenishing the fund. The program is quite expensive to run, as each child receives breakfast, lunch, and a Visa gift card as well as other toys/prizes. That nearly depletes our donation funding.

It is our sincere hope that the residents and business community of North Fayette Township rally around our police department to help us provide these very special children with what they deserve; a happy holiday season. We humbly ask for your consideration in donating to this great cause in 2019. Watch our website and social media for more information in the coming weeks.
