The Township of North Fayette, population approximately 14,500, is one of the fastest growing business and residential communities in Allegheny County. The Township is currently seeking a part-time Administrative Secretary to the Township Manager. Under direction, the successful candidate will perform a variety of administrative support functions on behalf of the Township Manager, Board of Supervisors, and Director of Fiscal and Administrative Services as well as other Department Directors. The position reports directly to the Township Manager.
The successful candidate will have education, training, and/or experience that demonstrate possession of the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed in the position profile. A minimum of a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. An Associate degree is preferred. A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Secretary or Administrative Assistant is required. Previous local government experience is desirable.
