Snow/Ice Reminder for Residents and Business Owners

Image of person shoveling snow

As you can see, snow and ice are back in the ‘Burgh! In fact, we may receive some additional snow this week and/or upcoming weekend.

We want to remind all residents and business owners that it is your responsibility to clear all sidewalks in front of your home or business within 24 hours after the conclusion of a snow/ice storm. In addition, a minimum 3-foot area must be cleared around fire hydrants, if located on your property. Uncleared sidewalks can lead to injuries in which the property owner is liable.

Please help us to keep North Fayette’s sidewalks safe this winter!
