Green Gardens, Clean Water Event at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden

WASAG (Western Allegheny Stormwater Awareness Group) and North Fayette Township invite you to an informational and interactive evening at the Pittsburgh Botanic Garden to learn why you should always go Green before Grey! We welcome Landscapers, Contractors, Homeowners, Garden Clubs, Scouts and anyone else that would like to learn. Presenters from Penn State Extension as well as the Conservation District will show you how to properly take care of property and gardens to prevent pollution in our waterways. Take extra measures like installing rain gardens or not mowing a stream bank, and see how you can even IMPROVE the water quality!

Landscapers: Advertise to your clients that your company has been trained to install environmentally friendly projects. Stroll through the beautiful gardens afterwards. Light Refreshments and snacks will be provided. Presented By: Townships of Collier, Crescent, Hopewell, Moon, North Fayette, Findlay, Coraopolis and Oakdale Boroughs, Allegheny Watershed Alliance.

Please RSVP to Johnna Zona at or 724-693-3101.

October 2nd 2018 from 4:00pm - 6:00pm
