Recycling Electronics

It has become increasingly more difficult to find a location to dispose of televisions & PC monitors these days.   Although the Township is continuing to work on a permanent solution to this problem, there are collection events throughout the Pittsburgh suburbs in the spring, summer and fall that offer a means of disposal for these items.  Please sign up for the Trash & Recycling Calendar under "Notify Me"  on the homepage, check this website,  and also the Township newsletter for details as they become available.  Residents can also check the website of the sponsor for these events, the Pennsylvania Resource Council.

Other electronic waste can continue to be brought to the Township between the hours of 7 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, for the following items: Electric typewriters, cell phones, copiers, computers (PCs, mainframes, workstations, servers & laptops), printers, scanners, fax machines, disk drives, surge protectors, microwaves, computer cables & cabling, electronic telephone systems, electronic cash registers, satellite systems, VCR & DVD machines, MP3 Players, cassette players, CD players, video games and video game consoles and all digital photographic equipment.
