Billing
The Township handles the billing for garbage collection and sanitary sewage.  If you have any questions concerning your bill please contact the office at 412-788-4888 or 724-693-9601.

The Township Sanitation Department collects 5,620 tons of trash per year and 208 tons of recycled materials.

Local businesses and residents should be aware of legislation that was passed in 2010 concerning the disposal of electronic devices that is now taking effect. Starting in 2012, businesses are no longer permitted to dispose of computers, printers, televisions, fax machines or similar electronic devices through traditional trash collection.   Beginning in January 1, 2013, landfills will not be permitted to accept those items.  Residents and businesses will have to dispose of these items via approved recycling and disposal collection operations.   The Township is working to have arrangements in place for these alternatives as part of its trash collection operation.   Please check on the Township Website and future newsletters for information regarding this important change in our collection.
