Exercise

Several ongoing exercise programs are offered:

Silver Sneaker Splash- Activate your aqua exercise urge for variety!  Silver Sneaker Splash offers LOTS of fun and shallow water moves to improve agility, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance. NO SWIMMING ABILITY IS REQUIRED! A special Silver Sneakers kickboard is used to develop strength, balance and coordination. Program meets Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year at Donaldson Elementary School Pool from 4:30-5:30 pm. Program moves outside to Hankey Farms Pool during the summer.

Water Walking- Did you know walking in water for 1/2 hour is the equivalent of walking on land for 2 hours! Program is offered Monday through Thursday between 6 & 8 pm at Donaldson Elementary School Pool. Cost is $2 per session.

Wise Walking- a 10 week walking program geared toward 50+ adults. Co-sponsored with the West Allegheny Community library

Open Gym- Someplace to do a morning walk with your friends. North Fayette Community Center Gymnasium after 7:30 am. FREE!
