New Park Construction

The Township is currently developing a new park off of Donaldson Road adjacent to Donaldson Elementary School. Construction has been completed on three new baseball fields and planned for the spring is the construction of a new football field, new soccer field and a multipurpose building.
Plans for the new park also include new play areas, new picnic pavilions, horseshoe pits, a sand volleyball, a walking trail, an outdoor amphitheatre and a lookout hill with meadow and kite-flying area.
The Township has been awarded an additional $10,000 through the Grable Foundation and KABOOM!, to build one of the new play areas. We will be organizing the construction of this new area as a Community build project and invite interested individuals, businesses, groups or organizations to contact the Parks & Recreation Department to be involved in the construction.
